Who We Are
Personal Bridge is a Christian charity that began in 2012, built on a heart to walk alongside people facing some of life’s hardest challenges. From the beginning, we have supported individuals who felt broken, lost, or overwhelmed — helping them move towards hope, stability, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Over the years, Personal Bridge has grown into a counselling service that is passionate about offering affordable, accessible support to the local community. We aim to provide a safe and welcoming space where people can talk openly and feel heard without judgement.
Our counselling is available to adults from all backgrounds. We welcome people of any faith or none, and spiritual aspects are only included if requested. Our focus is always on the needs, pace, and choices of each individual.
We are a diverse team of counsellors with a range of experience and therapeutic approaches. Together, we are committed to offering compassionate, ethical, and professional support.
We work in accordance with the Association of Christian Counsellors Code of Ethics and Practice, and we also follow the Churchill Framework, which supports safe and responsible counselling within a Christian context.
Rooted in values of hope, kindness, and respect, our mission remains simple:
to walk alongside people as they find healing, strength, and hope — one step at a time.
