Emma Moxon (Centre Manager)

Hello, I'm Emma, a qualified counsellor and centre manager.
I am passionate about the difference counselling makes in people's lives. I also have a keen interest in building teams of counsellors to provide professional, confidential and affordable therapy. I have worked as a counsellor and occupational therapist in various teams and services across Yorkshire for over 15 years.

In my free time I enjoy getting out with friends and family, especially walking my dog in the Dales and on the coast.

Neil Cayton (Counsellor)

Hi, I’m Neil, and I like to work in a kind and considerate way, providing a safe and confidential space to talk. I am trained in using the Waverley Integrative Framework, and this fits well with my person-centred approach.

For leisure I love riding my motorbike and walking in the countryside, seeing, and photographing the lovely and amazing scenery and wildlife. The outlet for creativity adds a zest to life! I believe that all people have unique gifts and should be able to enjoy a life of purpose and freedom. I would love to help you do that.

I currently provide therapy both online and face-to-face. As well as an ever-deepening interest in the person-centred approach to counselling, I am respectfully curious about the significance personality and attachment types may have for individuals and in relationships.

Tola Awe-Cunningham  (Counsellor)

Hello, I'm Tola, I offer counselling that helps you gently explore what sits beneath your current challenges, building awareness, wellbeing, and empowerment so you can move toward lasting peace. My work is grounded in the Waverley Integrative Framework and shaped by Christian values of compassion, dignity, and hope—creating a space where faith can be included if it’s meaningful to you, and respected if it’s not.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw from relevant approach to counselling in accordance with the challenge being addressed and the client preferences and nature. The models that I am familiar with and use includes psychodynamic, and psychoanalysis therapy; cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT); Gestalt therapy; systemic approaches – internal family systems (IFS) therapy and other trauma‑informed practice to support the whole person.

My aim is to provide a warm, safe, and collaborative environment where you can move at your own pace.
My background includes many years in the charity sector supporting people in vulnerable circumstances, including those escaping domestic abuse. I continue to serve in charitable roles and volunteer as a chaplain, which keeps my work rooted in service and care.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy travelling, reading, and creative projects that help me stay grounded and inspired.

Dee Lalor (Student Counsellor)

Hello I’m Dee, a student counsellor who’s always been drawn to supporting people with empathy and compassion. I’ve gained experience working with individuals and families through my time volunteering with Home-Start, supporting parents in a family residential home, and most recently as a telephone befriender with The Bridge Project. Those roles have strengthened my belief that everyone deserves a safe, non-judgemental space to be heard, and that’s exactly what I hope to offer as a counsellor.

In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, go for walks and watch live music."
