At Personal Bridge, we believe everyone has something valuable to offer.
Whether you are training as a counsellor, have practical skills, creative ideas, or simply a heart to support others, there are many ways you can get involved.

As a growing charity, we rely on the kindness, time, and support of volunteers who want to make a difference within the local community.


Counselling Volunteers
We welcome both qualified counsellors and counselling students who are looking to gain experience within a supportive and compassionate environment.
Opportunities may include:
  • Placement opportunities for counselling students
  • Supporting adult clients through weekly counselling sessions
  • Online or face-to-face counselling
  • Working within a supportive supervision structure
  • Developing experience within community counselling services
  • Supporting individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences​

* Qualified Counsellors and Student Counsellors level 4 or above

Community & Fundraising Volunteers
Fundraising and community support help us continue offering affordable counselling to those who need it most.
Ways you could help include:
  • Supporting fundraising events
  • Helping organise community projects
  • Raising awareness of Personal Bridge locally
  • Helping connect with local churches, organisations, and community groups
  • Assisting with donation drives or charity initiatives
  • Helping us build community partnerships

Creative & Media Support
Creative volunteers help us share hope, raise awareness, and reach more people in need of support.
You could help with:
  • Social media content and promotion
  • Advertising and marketing
  • Photography or video content
  • Graphic design and leaflets
  • Writing newsletters or blog posts
  • Helping promote events and services online

Administration & Practical Support
Practical support behind the scenes helps the charity run smoothly and effectively.
Support roles may include:
  • Administrative support​
  • Organising resources and paperwork
  • Responding to enquiries
  • Helping maintain counselling spaces
  • General volunteer assistance
